Windows V Apple
I've been a user of windows OS for years, along with a few different linux distros. I hear constant bashing about windows in the media and on the web but, i have to say from personal experience, I have absolutely no problems with it. It's great for games, music, video, development work, general use....... etc. It has a few faults but all operating systems do but over the last few years gotten progressively better. We hear a lot about security problems with it but from my experience i've never had any problems with it.
I've never liked Apple for the simple reason that they seem to do everything in their power to keep their products as isolated from other products as they can. Even now having switched to intel architecture they've made it difficult for it to be used with Windows Operating system.
What apple have to be commended on is their product design skills, in particular their imac range but on the other hand i think their ibook/macbook pro range is quite ordinary.

Hi Stig, Brendan of Voices in my Head here.I use both PC and Mac.Bought an iMac G4 , never had any problems.Have had many problems with Windows over the years, although XP is better and more reliable.Found Mac easy to use.iTunes is brilliant, now available on PC.Great for photos, music etc.Also OSX is a v stable system based on Unix.Apple are building their brand all right , with the iPod obviously.It will be interesting to see how Vista fares .Cheers.
